AP 900 and AP 1200 Mounts, this plate completely replaces the AP’s Pier
Plate (now sold
separately) and is great for setting up in the field. Did
you ever set up during the day, only to find that when night comes, you are
too far off in azimuth? You then have to move your pier by tilting and kicking
it around with your scope and weights attached. No more of that. The mount
will safely rotate to any position in azimuth with scope and weights attached
and lock securely in place. You then use the azimuth adjustment on the mount
for fine adjustment. This pier plate is CNC Machined from aircraft aluminum
